Egypt 2027 Eclipse Tours for French Travelers
On August 2, 2027, the Moon's shadow will race from the Atlantic across North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. While the eclipse path grazes parts of southern Europe, the longest totality -- about 6 minutes 22 seconds -- falls on the Nile Valley in Upper Egypt. For French travelers, this makes Egypt the clear choice: direct flights from Paris CDG to Cairo on Air France and EgyptAir take approximately four and a half hours, and charter flights serve Hurghada from Paris, Marseille, and Lyon.
