What eye protection do I need?
You must use ISO 12312-2 certified solar viewing glasses during all partial phases. During totality only, you may view with naked eyes. We provide certified equipment to all guests.
Can I photograph the eclipse?
Yes! We provide photography workshops and equipment support. Solar filters are required for cameras during partial phases.
What is the weather like in Egypt in August?
Egypt in August is hot (35-45°C) but extremely dry with 95%+ clear-sky probability. The desert climate is ideal for eclipse viewing.
Do I need a visa for Egypt?
Most nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival or e-visa. We provide full visa guidance as part of your booking.
